Story of 顿别惫墨p墨峁環a
The dead body of Sat墨dev墨 crumbled into small pieces and fell in different places in 叠丑腻谤补迟补. Each place where a piece of the dead body fell, is known by the name 顿别惫墨p墨峁環a. There is a reason why the dead body crumbled into pieces.
顿补办峁 performed a sacrifice to which 艢颈惫补 was not invited and Sat墨dev墨 came to the sacrifice, and committed suicide by jumping into the fire. 艢颈惫补 who became furious, killed 顿补办峁 and carrying the dead body of his wife on his shoulder, walked the length and breadth of 叠丑腻谤补迟补 like a mad man. It seemed that he was not going to recover from this mania, and the devas (gods) were worried at this. To rescue 艢颈惫补 from this mental disposition, 惭补丑腻惫颈峁ａ箛耻, unseen by others, followed 艢颈惫补 with a bow and arrow. Whenever it was convenient 惭补丑腻惫颈峁ａ箛耻 sent an arrow at the body of Sat墨dev墨, on the shoulder of 艢颈惫补. By the hitting of the arrows the body was crumbled into pieces and fell here and there. Thus within a few days the body of Sat墨dev墨 came to an end and 艢颈惫补 walked to 碍补颈濒腻蝉补. The pieces of the dead body fell in 108 places, and thus 108 顿别惫墨p墨峁環as came into existence. The names of the places and the names by which the 顿别惫墨 is known in such places are given below.
