m奴tre峁嘺 mau峁囜笉yamicchet tu k峁triyo 诲补峁囜笉补尘别惫补 v膩 || 384 ||In the case of the 痴补颈艣测补 approaching an unprotected 碍峁迟谤颈测补 woman, the fine shall be five hundred; but the 碍峁迟谤颈测补 may suffer tonsure or the fine.鈥�(384)
Medh膩tithi鈥檚 commentary (manubh膩峁a):
For the 痴补颈艣测补 there shall be a fine of five hundred, if he has intercourse with an unprotected 碍峁迟谤颈测补 woman.
For the 碍峁迟谤颈测补 also there shall be the same penalty; or he may suffer 鈥榯onsure鈥欌�攕having of the head with ass鈥檚 urine.
The same punishment is applicable to both the 痴补颈艣测补 and the 碍峁迟谤颈测补 for having intercourse with an unprotected 痴补颈艣测补 飞辞尘补苍.鈥�(384)

This verse is quoted in 痴颈惫腻诲补谤补迟苍腻办补谤补 (p. 396), which adds the following explanation:鈥擨f a 碍峁迟谤颈测补 has recourse to an unguarded 碍峁迟谤颈测补 woman, his head shall be wetted with urine and then shaved, or he may be fined, like the 痴补颈艣测补, 500 辫补峁嘺蝉. It adds that 尝补办峁墨诲丑补谤补 has read 鈥�尘补耻峁囜笉测补尘别惫补鈥� for 鈥�诲补峁囜笉补尘别惫补鈥�;鈥攁nd in 痴测补惫补丑腻谤补-叠腻濒补尘产丑补峁弓墨 (p. 1008).
