Medh膩tithi鈥檚 commentary (尘补苍耻产丑腻峁补):
鈥�Those who are deficient in limbs;鈥欌赌�e.g., the one-eyed person, the leper, the dwarf, and so forth.
鈥�Those who have redundant limbs;鈥欌赌攖hat is persons suffering from elephantiasis and such diseases.
鈥�Destitute of learning鈥欌赌擨濒濒颈迟别谤补迟别.
鈥�Far advanced in age鈥欌赌�i.e., very old persons.
鈥�Destitute of beauty;鈥欌赌�i.e., persons with a flat nose or with a squint eye, and so forth.
鈥�Destitute of wealth鈥欌赌攑oor; devoid of wealth, riches.
鈥�Of low birth鈥欌赌攑ersons whose birth is defective; e.g., the 鈥�办耻峁囜笉补鈥� (one born of his mother鈥檚 paramour during his father鈥檚 life-time), the 鈥�golaka鈥� (one so born, after his father鈥檚 death), and so forth.
鈥楾丑别蝉别 he shall not insult.鈥欌赌� 鈥業nsulting鈥� means despising; the mere act of calling these persons by these names would be an 鈥榠nsult.鈥欌赌�(141)
