Source: Wisdom Library: Kath膩sarits膩gara1) 厂耻尘腻测补 (啶膏啶ぞ啶�) is the name of an Asura king, according to the Kath膩sarits膩gara, chapter 45. Accordingly: 鈥�... And then Prahl膩da invited, by means of messengers, the chiefs of the Asuras, and they came there in order from all the underworlds. First came King Bali, accompanied by innumerable great Asuras. Close behind him came Am墨la and the brave Dur膩roha and 厂耻尘腻测补, and Tantukaccha, and Vika峁乲峁 and Prakampana, and Dh奴maketu and Mah膩尘腻测补, and the other lords of the Asuras; each of these came accompanied by a thousand feudal chiefs. The hall of audience was filled with the heroes, who saluted one another, and after they had sat down in order of rank Prahl膩da honoured them all鈥�.
2) 厂耻尘腻测腻 (啶膏啶ぞ啶ぞ) is the daughter of the Asura king Maya, and was given to S奴ryaprabha in marriage according to the Kath膩sarits膩gara, chapter 45. Accordingly, 鈥�... the next day Maya also in the same way reconducted the prince, who was in the fourth underworld, to his own palace, which possessed curiously adorned jewelled terraces, was constructed by his own magic power and, on account of its refulgent splendour, seemed to be new every moment. There he gave him his own daughter, named 厂耻尘腻测腻, whose beauty was the wonder of the world, who seemed to be his own power incarnate, and he did not think that she ought to be withheld from him on account of his being a mere mortal鈥�.
3) 厂耻尘腻测补 (啶膏啶ぞ啶�) is the name of a Vidy膩dhara chief who, deserted the army of 艢ruta艣arman and took the side of S奴ryaprabha, according to the Kath膩sarits膩gara, chapter 48. Accordingly: 鈥�... we are named Mah膩y膩na and 厂耻尘腻测补, and this Si峁僪abala was the third of us; we had obtained magic power by having the rule of a great cemetery, and were unassailable by the other Vidy膩dharas鈥�.
The story of 厂耻尘腻测补 and 厂耻尘腻测腻 was narrated by the Vidy膩dhara king Vajraprabha to prince Narav膩hanadatta in order to relate how 鈥淪奴ryaprabha, being a man, obtain of old time the sovereignty over the Vidy膩dharas鈥�.
The Kath膩sarits膩gara (鈥榦cean of streams of story鈥�), mentioning 厂耻尘腻测补, is a famous Sanskrit epic story revolving around prince Narav膩hanadatta and his quest to become the emperor of the 惫颈诲测腻诲丑补谤补蝉 (celestial beings). The work is said to have been an adaptation of Gu峁嚹佱笉hya鈥檚 B峁沨atkath膩 consisting of 100,000 verses, which in turn is part of a larger work containing 700,000 verses.
