: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English Translationٳṇvīś (स्थाण्वीश्वर) or ٳԱś is the name of a Tīrtha (sacred region), according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.2.39.—Accordingly, as Brahmā narrated to Nārada:—“[...] after venerating Dadhīca, Kṣuva returned to his abode. Viṣṇu also returned to his region and the devas to their respective places. That place became a sanctified holy centre named ٳԱś. Persons making pilgrimage to ٳԱś will attain the Sāyujya salvation with Śiva�.
