This page describes Introduction which is the first part of chapter V of the English translation of the Datta-nandana-prahlada-caritra, contained within the 鈥淭rishashti Shalaka Purusha Caritra鈥�: a massive Jain narrative relgious text composed by Hemacandra in the 12th century. Datta, Nandana and Prahlada in jainism refers to some of the 63 illustrious beings or worthy persons.
