Shitalanatha in jainism is one of the 63 illustrious beings or worthy persons.
Part 4: Śītala’s birth
Now in ʰṇaٲ-heaven, King Padmottara’s ī completed his life of twenty sāgaropamas. On the sixth day of the black half of , when the moon was in Pūrvāṣāḍhā, King Padmottara’s ī fell and descended into Ի’s womb. Then the Lady Ի, comfortably asleep, saw the fourteen great dreams which indicate the birth of a īٳṅk. On the twelfth day of the black half of Māgha, when the moon was in Pūrvāṣāḍhā, Śrī Ի bore a gold colored son, marked with a śīٲ.
