The subject matter of clairvoyance (补惫补诲丑颈箩帽腻苍补) is discussed next.
The range or the subject matter (惫颈峁测补) is supplied from the previous 蝉奴迟谤补. The term 鈥�谤奴辫墨鈥� implies forms of the matter (pudgala) and embodied souls鈥揵onded souls. The 蝉奴迟谤补 lays down that the scope of clairvoyance (补惫补诲丑颈箩帽腻苍补) is restricted to 鈥�谤奴辫墨鈥� substances only and does not extend to non-material substances. Even with regard to 鈥槹枘�� substances, the range of clairvoyance is limited to certain modes (辫补谤测腻测补) only according to its potency and does not extend to all modes of the matter. In order to determine this 鈥�补蝉补谤惫补辫补谤测腻测别峁鈥� should be brought together.
