Generally correct. Patala khanda of the Padma Purana. This is the fourth part of the second great Purana by Vyasa. It comprises nine thousand slokas, divided into one hundred and two chapters. (Ante, p. 247). Its principal subject is a new and very diffuse version of the Ramayana. Professor Wilson has given a full analysis of this work, ( Essays I, pp. 45 ff.) and to it I must refer the reader for information on the subject.
