Part 2.1e - Viśuddha cakra (The throat centre)

Viśuddha cakra is situated within the suṣumnā nāḍi at the base of the throat has sixteen spokes and therefore sixteen apparent division. ṇṭ-mūla sthāna. This corresponds to janar loka. It is the centre of ākāśa tattva (ether element). The tattva is of pure blue colour. Above this, all other cakra belong to Բ tattva. The presiding deity is ś (ś ṅg), and the Goddess is Ś쾱Ծ. From this centre emanante 16 yoga ḍi which appear like the petals of a lotus. The vibrations that are produced by the ḍi are represented by the 16 Sanskrit vowels.

ś ṇḍ (the region of ether) is sound in shape like the full Moon. The īᲹ of Āś tattva ham is in this centre. It is of white colour. This cakra corresponds to laryngeal plexus in the physical body.[1]
