Chapter 5a - Nirvikalpaka Pratyakṣa according to Cārvāka
According to the 첹 ٲⲹṣa is the only ṇa. There is no other ṇa and there is no object of cognition which is not percept. The objects of ٲⲹṣa are those that are made of ٳܰūٲⲹ i.e. earth (ṣiپ), water (ap), fire (agni), and air ().[1] These objects can be known only through sense-organs. The 첹 do not refer the two stages of ٲⲹṣa i.e. nirvikalpaka and savikalpaka.
