The Puskaradvipa surrounds the milk-ocean and its area is double that of Sakadvipa. Savana, the king of Puskaradvipa, had two sons, viz.Mahavita and Ghatakikhanda, after whom the two countries take their names. 36 The mountain Manasottara is situated in the middle of Puskaradvipa in a round form.37 The tree of Nyagnodha is situated in the Puskaradvipa and Lord Brahma resides there.
