Commentary
It is now explained how the augment 蝉耻峁� in Hari艣-candra is justified even when the word is only the name of a student (尘腻峁嘺惫补办补).

[There is the augment 蝉耻峁� in the word 贬补谤颈艣肠补苍诲谤补 and it is correct when it is the name of a 峁涐梗颈 (P. 6.1.153.) When we make a compound word in the sense of Hari艣candro yasya, the resulting form would be Haricandra, that is, there will be no 蝉耻峁�. The circumstance being different, the form is also different.
The 痴峁泃迟颈 points out that sometimes the form with 蝉耻峁� can be correct when it is the name of the 峁氠梗颈:鈥�迟补迟丑腻 sati 峁氠梗er anyatr膩pi sa蝉耻峁璳asya s膩dhutva峁� vij帽膩yate.]
