Part 9 - Test of incinerated iron

Incinerated iron, mixed with honey and clarified butter, is to be confined in a silver samputa, and subjected to heat by puta. If in so doing, the quantity of the silver does not undergo any diminution, the ashes of the iron are to be considered actually incinerated and incapable of being restored to their original condition of un-incinerated iron. In case, the silver is found short of the original quantity, the iron is to be considered un-incinerated and capable of being restored to its original condition. In that case, it is to be incinerated again.
