The Garga-samhita Verse 5.17.21, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. sri-cruti-rupa ucuh yaj-jagaradisu bhavesu param hy ahetur hetusvid asya vicaranti gunac ca yena naitad vicanti mahad-indriya-deva-sagghas tasmai namo 'gnim iva vistrta-visphuliggah sri-cruti-rupa
耻肠耻丑鈥�the gopis that had been Personified Vedas said; 测补箩-箩补驳补谤补诲颈蝉耻鈥�beginning with wakefulness; 产丑补惫别蝉耻鈥�in the states of being; 辫补谤补尘鈥�supreme; 丑颈鈥�indeed; 补丑别迟耻丑鈥�causeless; 丑别迟耻蝉惫颈迟鈥�cause; asya鈥�of Him; vicaranti鈥�consider; 驳耻苍补丑鈥�the modes; 肠补鈥�and; 测别苍补鈥�by whom; 苍补鈥�not; 别迟补迟鈥�this; 惫颈肠补苍迟颈鈥�enter; mahat鈥�mahat-tattva; indriya鈥�senses; deva鈥�demigods; 蝉补驳驳丑补丑鈥�groups; 迟补蝉尘补颈鈥�to Him; 苍补尘补丑鈥�obeisances; 补驳苍颈尘鈥�fire; 颈惫补鈥�like; vistrta-惫颈蝉辫丑耻濒颈驳驳补丑鈥�sparks.
English translation of verse 5.17.21:
The gopis that had been Personified Vedas said: We offer our respectful obeisances to Lord Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He is the cause of wakefulness, dream, and sleep, but nothing outside of Himself is the cause of Him.
Pushed by Him, the modes of material nature act. The mahat-tattva, senses, and demigods have no power over Him. He is a blazing fire and all things that exist are sparks from Him.
