The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.3.452, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 452 of Antya-khanda chapter 3—“Mahaprabhu’s Deliverance of Sarvabhauma, Exhibition of His Six-armed Form, and Journey to Bengal�.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.3.452:

পর� অমৃত এব� কৃষ্�-গু�-না� নিরবধি সে� মুখে কর� তুমি পা� � ৪৫� �

पर� अमृत एब� कृष्�-गु�-ना� निरवधि से� मुखे कर� तुमि पा� � ४५� �

parama amṛta ebe kṛṣṇa-ṇa-nāma niravadhi sei mukhe kara� tumi pāna || 452 ||

parama amrta ebe krsna-guna-nama niravadhi sei mukhe kara� tumi pana (452)

English translation:

(452) “Now you must constantly drink the supreme nectar of chanting the names and qualities of ṛṣṇa with the same mouth.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

In the Śī 岵ٲ (2.4.15) it is stated:

yat-īٲԲ� yat-ṇa� yad-īṣaṇa� yad-Ի岹Բ� yac-chravaṇa� yad-arhaṇam lokasya sadyo vidhunoti 첹ṣa�

tasmai subhadra-śravase namo Բ�

“Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto the all-auspicious Lord Śrī ṛṣṇa, about whom glorification, remembrances, audience, prayers, hearing, and worship can at once cleanse the effects of all sins of the performer.� In the Śī 岵ٲ (1.18.4) it is stated:

nottamaśloka-vārtānā� juṣatā� tat-첹ٳmṛtam syāt sambhramo ‘nta- ‘pi smaratā� tat-padāmbujam

“This was so because those who have dedicated their lives to the transcendental topics of the Personality of Godhead, of whom the Vedic hymns sing, and who are constantly engaged in remembering the lotus

feet of the Lord, do not run the risk of having misconceptions even at the last moment of their lives.� In the Śī 岵ٲ (3.6.37) it is stated:

Գٲ- vacaso nu puṃsā� suśloka-mauler ṇa-vādam āhu� śruteś ca vidvadbhir upākṛtāyā� 첹ٳ-sudhāyām upasamprayogam

“The highest perfectional gain of humanity is to engage in discussions of the activities and glories of the Pious Actor. Such activities are so nicely arranged in writing by the greatly learned sages that the actual purpose of the ear is served just by being near them.�
