Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration, Word-for-word and English translation of verse 2.1.71:
तथाप प्रत्यभिज्ञेयं तस्य स्याद् अचेतसः
मद-देवो जगद्-ईशोऽयं माधवोऽपि सतां प्रभुः ७१ tathāpi pratyabhijñeya tasya na syād ٲ |

Nevertheless, due to ignorance, the ṇa did not develop complete knowledge. In other words, he was unable to fully comprehend the idea that “My worshipable Lord is in truth nondifferent from īś, Supreme Lord of the universe; from Śī ; and from the Deities worshiped by these ղṣṇ.
Commentary: Dig-darśinī-ṭīkā with Bhāvānuvāda
(By Śīla Sanātana Gosvāmī himself including a deep purport of that commentary)
Śī ʲīṣi says, “Seeing similarities between his own worshipful Deity and Śī , the ṇa understood that Śī is the Supreme Lord of the universe. However, he could not grasp that his own worshipable Lord was the same as īś, the same as the Deity of , and the same as the Deities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead worshiped by these ղṣṇ. Because he was ignorant and lacked discrimination, the ṇa could neither realize Their oneness nor could he fathom the transcendental connection between Them.
