۲ٳ (यथाकाल) refers to the “proper time� (for hawking), according to the ŚⲹԾ첹-śٰ: a Sanskrit treatise dealing with the divisions and benefits of Hunting and Hawking, written by Rājā Rudradeva (or Candradeva) in possibly the 13th century.—Accordingly, [while discussing the outlines of hawking]: “[...] While the king himself, surrrounded by a few distinguished and faithful champions, [...] should ride on a good horse of excellent gait and speed, with flowing bridles, and trotting in harmony with the music of drums; and, accompanied by a large number of hawkers, proceeds to a shady place in a mountain in proper time (ⲹٳ) and with great watchfulness [...]�.
