: Shodhganga: Edition translation and critical study of yogasarasamgrahaVy膩ghry膩di refers to a medicinal recipe mentioned in the Lehakha峁囜笉a (verse 8.4) of the 15th-century Yogas膩rasa峁単raha (Yogasara-sa峁単raha) by V膩sudeva: an unpublished Keralite work representing an Ayurvedic compendium of medicinal recipes. The Lehakha峁囜笉a [mentioning 惫测腻驳丑谤测腻诲颈] contains preparations of leha (linctus, i.e. medicine in the form of a syrup), 腻蝉补惫补 and gula; such recipes treat patients suffering from conditions such as intermittent fever, cough, hiccough, fever, dyspnoea, haemorrhagic diseases, pulmonary cavitation, tuberculosis, etc.
膧yurveda (啶嗋く啷佮ぐ啷嵿さ啷囙う, ayurveda) is a branch of Indian science dealing with medicine, herbalism, taxology, anatomy, surgery, alchemy and related topics. Traditional practice of 膧yurveda in ancient India dates back to at least the first millenium BC. Literature is commonly written in Sanskrit using various poetic metres.
