: The University of Sydney: A study of the Twelve Reflections痴测腻诲丑颈谤奴辫补 (啶掂啶ぞ啶оた啶班啶�) refers to 鈥渢hat which consists of disease鈥�, according to the 11th century J帽膩n膩r峁嘺va, a treatise on Jain Yoga in roughly 2200 Sanskrit verses composed by 艢ubhacandra.鈥擜ccordingly, 鈥淗aving taken hold of this body in this life, suffering [com.鈥攖hat which consists of pain and disease鈥斺��腻诲丑颈惫测腻诲丑颈谤奴辫补峁�鈥橾 is endured by you. Hence, that [body] is certainly a completely worthless abode. Whatever difficulties arise from life, they are each endured here by the embodied soul, only having taken hold of the body powerfully鈥�.
