屹ṣṭ (उद्वेष्ट) refers to “cramps�, mentioned in verse 4.2-4 of the ṣṭṅgṛdⲹṃh (Sūtrasthāna) by 岵ṭa.—Accordingly, �(By the stoppage) of feces (are) said (to be caused) cramps in the calf [viz., 辱ṇḍ첹-ܻ屹ṣṭ], catarrh, headache, upward wind, colic, heart-trouble, outflow of stool through the mouth, and the above-named diseases�.

Note: An exceptional position is held by 辱ṇḍ첹-ܻ屹ṣṭ (“cramps in the calf�), which has not only been verbalized but paraphrased as well: byin-pai ña ’gyur (“the muscles of the calf are (morbidly) altered�).
