: academia.edu: The Structure and Meanings of the Heruka Ma峁囜笉alaTilakacakra (啶むた啶侧啶氞啷嵿ぐ) is another name for the lotus (padma) positioned in the 蝉补丑补箩补-辫耻峁璦 or 鈥榠nnate layer鈥� of the 贬别谤耻办补尘补峁囜笉补濒补: a large-scale and elaborate 尘补峁囜笉补濒补 of Heruka, consisting of 986 deities, as found in the 岣屇乲腻谤峁嘺惫补 chapter 15.鈥擳he 贬别谤耻办补尘补峁囜笉补濒补 consists of four layers (辫耻峁璦) consisting of concentric circles (cakra, totally one lotus at the center and 12 concentric circles, that is, 13 circles in total). The First layer (蝉补丑补箩补-辫耻峁璦, 鈥榠nnate鈥�) consists of: (1) The lotus (padma) at the center [binducakra or tilakacakra according to Jayasena鈥檚 S膩dhana], (2) The adamantine circle (vajracakra), (3) The heart circle (h峁沝ayacakra), and (4) The merit circle (驳耻峁嘺肠补办谤补).
