: Wikisource: A dictionary of Sanskrit grammarTakṣaśilādi (तक्षशिलादि).—A class of words headed by तक्षशिला (ٲṣaś) to which the taddhita affix � (a) (अञ� (ñ)) is added in the sense of 'a native place or a domicile'. The word so formed has the acute accent on its first vowel; e. g. ताक्षशिल� वात्सोद्वरणः (tākṣaśila� vātsodvaraṇa�); cf. Kas. on P. IV. 3.93.
