1) To take courage, take heart, calm or compose oneself; समाश्वसिमि केनाहं कथ� प्राणिमि दुर्गत� � लोकत्रयपतिर्भ्राता यस्य मे स्वपित� क्षितौ (samāśvasimi kenāha� katha� prāṇimi durgata� | lokatrayapatirbhrātā yasya me svapiti kṣitau) || Bhaṭṭikāvya 18.1.
