Natyashastra (theatrics and dramaturgy)
: Shodhganga: Elements of Art and Architecture in the Trtiyakhanda of the Visnudharmottarapurana (natya)Sadness (expression) is associated with MandÄå±ō²¹²õ²¹: one of the nine kinds of Ų¹²ā²āÄå²õ³Ł³óÄå²Ō²¹ or ālying down posturesā� (in Indian Dramas), as conveyed through Äį¹ g¾±°ģÄå²ś³ó¾±²Ō²¹²ā²¹: one of the four divisions of Abhinaya or āways to convey or represent oneās emotion to othersā�, according to the NÄį¹yaÅÄstra and the Viį¹£į¹udharmottarapurÄį¹a, an ancient Sanskrit text which (being encyclopedic in nature) deals with a variety of cultural topics such as arts, architecture, music, grammar and astronomy.ā� The word ³¾²¹²Ō»åÄå±ō²¹²õ²¹ is the amalgamation of two words viz., manda i.e., slow and Äå±ō²¹²õ²¹ i.e., lazyness. To show worry, sadness and separation as well as excitement, the actor should stretch one leg and sit on other and this position is called ³¾²¹²Ō»åÄå±ō²¹²õ²¹ posture.

Natyashastra (ą¤Øą¤¾ą¤ą„ą¤Æą¤¶ą¤¾ą¤øą„ą¤¤ą„र, ²ŌÄåį¹y²¹ÅÄå²õ³Ł°ł²¹) refers to both the ancient Indian tradition (shastra) of performing arts, (natyaātheatrics, drama, dance, music), as well as the name of a Sanskrit work dealing with these subjects. It also teaches the rules for composing Dramatic plays (nataka), construction and performance of Theater, and Poetic works (kavya).

(secondary hypertension) and is likely to promote the development of insulin resistance, risk factor for obesity and diabetes. Effects of late sleeping and also late get upping from bed include an increase of rajo-guna [e.g., dukha (saddness)] and tamo-guna due to suppression of sattva-guna.

Äyurveda (ą¤ą¤Æą„ą¤°ą„ą¤µą„द, ayurveda) is a branch of Indian science dealing with medicine, herbalism, taxology, anatomy, surgery, alchemy and related topics. Traditional practice of Äyurveda in ancient India dates back to at least the first millenium BC. Literature is commonly written in Sanskrit using various poetic metres.
