ū貹ٲԳٰ (रूपतन्मात्�) originates from spontaneously by self modification, according to the 10th century ܰܰṇa: one of the various Upapurāṇas depicting Śaivism.—[...] The ū徱 again covers up the ś, ś岹-ٲԳٰ, 貹ś-ٲԳٰ and the differentiated which then produces the ū貹-ٲԳٰ which immediately produces the gross light (teja). The 貹śٲԳٰ and the cover up the ū貹ٲԳٰ. Being thus conditioned, the differentiated gross teja produces the ٲԳٰ from which again the gross water is produced. In a similar manner the ٲԳٰ and the ū貹ٲԳٰ, being covered up, the differentiated gross water produces the Ի󲹳ٲԳٰ, from which again the gross earth (ṛt󾱱ī) is produced.
