The Quick Gait is denoted by the Sanskrit word 艢墨ghra, which represents one of the various Gatis (鈥渨ay of walking鈥�) (in Indian Dramas), according to the Vi峁ａ箛udharmottarapur膩峁嘺, an ancient Sanskrit text which (being encyclopedic in nature) deals with a variety of cultural topics such as arts, architecture, music, grammar and astronomy.鈥斉毮玤hragati or quick gait should be adopted in fear, terror, anger, joy, rapid and urgent actions, on hearing distasteful information, on seeing unbelievable things, searching of crime factors etc. In the M峁沜chaka峁璱ka of 艢udraka, the heroin Vasantasen膩 was moving speedily in terror as she was followed by some cunning persons like V墨峁璦, Ce峁璦 and 艢ak膩ra and her gait was crossing over the speed of wind. This can be taken as a manifestation of 艣墨驳丑谤补-驳补迟颈.

Natyashastra (啶ㄠぞ啶熰啶ざ啶距じ啷嵿い啷嵿ぐ, 苍腻峁瓂补艣腻蝉迟谤补) refers to both the ancient Indian tradition (shastra) of performing arts, (natya鈥攖heatrics, drama, dance, music), as well as the name of a Sanskrit work dealing with these subjects. It also teaches the rules for composing Dramatic plays (nataka), construction and performance of Theater, and Poetic works (kavya).

He quickly (办峁辫谤补) controls gods, demons and men. When angry, he can kill with his speech and drive away his adversary. The practitioner can thus effect a curse with his speech [...]鈥�.
