惭腻峁囜笉奴办测补办腻谤颈办腻 (啶ぞ啶`啶∴啶曕啶啶距ぐ啶苦啶�) is the name of a philosophical work attributed to Gau岣峚p膩da.鈥擜fter he was blessed with the intuitive wisdom of the Absolute, must have taught those who gathered round him the truth he had discovered and embodied it in a work which came to be called the 膧gama艣膩stra or Gau岣峚p膩da-k膩rik膩. It is an exposition of a short but important Upani峁d called the M膩峁囜笉奴kya, which is counted as one of the principal Upani峁ds by all the schools of Ved膩nta. Besides the 惭腻峁囜笉奴办测补办腻谤颈办腻, other works are also attributed to Gau岣峚p膩da.

Work by Gau岣峚p膩da (8th century), the M膩峁囜笉ukya K膩rik膩 is a commentary in verse form on the Mandukya Upanishad, one of the shortest but most profound Upanishads, or mystical Vedas, consisting of just 13 prose sentences.

Also known as the 鈥�Gau岣峚p膩da K膩rik膩鈥� and 鈥�膧gama 艢膩stra鈥�

The Gaudapadiya Karika is divided into four chapters:

  1. Agama, or Agama Prakarana - explains the text of the Mandukya Upanishad and Gaudapada shows that Advaita is supported by the shruti and reason.
  2. Vaitathya Prakarana - is concerned primarily with rationally proving the unreality of the phenomenal world characterized by its duality and opposition, on the cessation of which non-duality is attained.
  3. Adavaita Prakarana - establishes non-duality
  4. Alatasanti Prakarana - explains the relativity of our phenomenal experience and establishes the Atman or soul as the only reality underlying the phenomenal existence.
