ī屹 (लीलावज्र) is the name of one of the several Vajrācāryas at Vikramaśīla .—In chapter 38 of his Rgya gar chos ’byung (“History of Buddhism in India�), Tāranātha includes several commentators on the Laghuśaṃvara, among ten persons [e.g., ī屹] whom he holds to have occupied the office of chief Vajrācārya at Vikramaśīla in rapid unbroken succession, and claims that Jayabhadra was the first of the ten.
