As the devotee enters the temple, he/she finds at the left corner of the entrance the image of ʲپԱṭṭ峾貹ṭṭi (eighteen villages) Karuppasāmi. Karuppasāmi is considered the guardian god of the village and the temple. The devotee enters the temple and moves in the outer . The sannidhi of Solaimalai Nāciyār is seen in a corner, the sannidhi of Śrīnīvāsa and Narasiṃha in another corner and the sannidhi of Viśvakseṣanar in one corner.
