: archive.org: Ceylon Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society 1963Jalakataka is the name of a vehera that existed in the ancient kingdom of 础苍耻谤腻诲丑补辫耻谤补, Ceylon (Sri Lanka).鈥擪osavakanda-vih膩ra about 2 miles south-east of Maradanka岣峚vala, is styled Milakati艣a-vih膩ra in a 2nd B.C. inscription there, but in a later 2nd century inscription it is named Jalakataka-vehera and the Daraka岣峚 tank is mentioned.
