Accordingly as BrahmÄ narrated to NÄrada:āā[...] with various sorts of prayer [Dakį¹£a] eulogised and bowed to the Goddess (DevÄ«) mother of the universe, [...] Be pleased, O primordial Goddess, be pleased, O Goddess in the form of Åiva; be pleased, O bestower of boons to the devotees; obeisance be to Thee, O wielder of illusion over the universe (Āį²¹²µ²¹²Ō³¾Äå²āÄå)ā�.
