: WorldCat: Rāj nighaṇṭuHeṭṭuthī in the Kannada language is another name for , a medicinal plant identified with Sida cordifolia Linn. (“country mellow� or “flannel weed�) from the Malvaceae or mallows family of flowering plants, according to verse 4.94-95 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. The fourth chapter (ś徱-) of this book enumerates eighty varieties of small plants (ṛt-ṣu貹). Other than the Kannada word Heṭṭuthī, there are more synonyms identified for this plant among which eleven are in Sanskrit.
