: WorldCat: Rāj nighaṇṭuī (दीर्घायु) is another name for ī첹, a medicinal plant possibly identified with Microstylis wallichii Lindl., which is a synonym of Crepidium acuminatum (D.Don) Szlach. from the Orchidaceae or “orchid� family of flowering plants, according to verse 5.11-13 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. The fifth chapter (貹貹ṭād-) of this book enumerates sixty varieties of smaller plants (ṣu-ṣu貹). Together with the names ī and ī첹, there are a total of sixteen Sanskrit synonyms identified for this plant.

Āyurveda (आयुर्वेद, ayurveda) is a branch of Indian science dealing with medicine, herbalism, taxology, anatomy, surgery, alchemy and related topics.
