: MDPI Books: The Ocean of Heroesbsod nams la rjes su yi rang ba (བསོད་ནམས་ལ་རྗེས་སུ་ཡི་རང་བ) refers to “rejoicing at others� acquiring merit� and represents one of the Seven Best Offerings, according to the Bohitā commentary of the 10th-century Ḍākārṇava-tantra: one of the last Tibetan Tantric scriptures belonging to the Buddhist Saṃvara tradition consisting of 51 chapters.—Accordingly, “[...] Having made offerings of the nectar and so on and [articles] originated in himself through the moon[rise] and sunrise, and having performed the confession of sin and others [e.g., ‘rejoicing at others� acquiring merit’�bsod nams la rjes su yi rang ba], he should reflect on compassion and so on. Then, [having made] himself being of the nature of emptiness, he should contemplate [the mantra of] Dzśܻ (“being purified by yoga�) [...]�.
