: archive.org: Bulletin of the French School of the Far East (volume 5)Apica (啶呧お啶苦) [?] (in Chinese: 础-辫颈-迟肠丑枚) is the name of an ancient kingdom associated with 惭补驳丑腻 or 惭补驳丑腻nak峁tra, as mentioned in chapter 18 of the Candragarbha: the 55th section of the Mah膩sa峁僴ip膩ta-s奴tra, a large compilation of S奴tras (texts) in Mah膩y膩na Buddhism partly available in Sanskrit, Tibetan and Chinese.鈥擟hapter 18 deals with geographical astrology and, in conversation with Brahmar膩ja and others, Buddha explains how he entrusts the Nak峁tras [e.g., 惭补驳丑腻] with a group of kingdoms [e.g., Apica] for the sake of protection and prosperity.
Mahayana (啶す啶距く啶距え, mah膩y膩na) is a major branch of Buddhism focusing on the path of a Bodhisattva (spiritual aspirants/ enlightened beings). Extant literature is vast and primarely composed in the Sanskrit language. There are many 蝉奴迟谤补蝉 of which some of the earliest are the various Praj帽膩p膩ramit膩 蝉奴迟谤补蝉.
