Purana and Itihasa (epic history)
: archive.org: Puranic Encyclopedia膧产丑墨谤补蝉 (啶嗋き啷�啶班じ啷�).鈥�A few details: 1) A low-caste people. People living in the estuary of the rivers of Sindh奴 and Sarasvat墨 were generally called 膧产丑墨谤补蝉. In the Sabh膩 Parva of Mah膩bh膩rata we find Nakula defeating these people during his victory march after the great Mah膩bh膩rata battle.
Once 膧产丑墨谤补蝉 went to Dharmaputra with many gifts. (艢lokas 11-13, Chapter 51, Sabh膩 Parva, Mah膩bh膩rata).
Once it was prophesied by M膩rka峁囜笉eya 峁氠梗i, that low-caste people like 膧产丑墨谤补蝉 and 艢akas would become rulers of states in different parts of Bh膩rata during Kaliyuga. (艢lokas 35-36, Chapter 188, Vana Parva, Mah膩bh膩rata).
In the Garu岣峚vy奴ha (Battle array named after Garu岣峚) which Dro峁嘺 created during the Kuruk峁tra battle he included 膧产丑墨谤补蝉 also. (艢loka 6, Chapter 20, Dro峁嘺 Parva, Mah膩bh膩rata).
Because of the hatred of 艢奴dras and 膧产丑墨谤补蝉 a sacred lake named Vin膩艣ana disappeared from the river, Sarasvat墨. (艢lokas 1 and 2, Chapter 37, 艢alya Parva, Mah膩bh膩rata).
膧产丑墨谤补蝉 were K峁triyas formerly. Afraid of Para艣ur膩ma they fled and lived in mountain-caves not continuing their hereditary work and thus became 艢奴dras. (艢loka 16, Chapter 29, A艣vamedhika Parva, Mah膩bh膩rata).
When Dv膩rak膩 was destroyed by floods and all the Y膩davas were killed Arjuna went north taking along with him the wives of 艢r墨 K峁涐梗峁嘺.
