This Jain Ramayana contains the biographies of Rama, Lakshmana, Ravana, Naminatha, Harishena-cakravartin and Jaya-cakravartin: all included in the list of 63 illustrious beings or worthy persons.

Part 3: Jaya’s parents (king Vijaya and queen ղ)

Now there is a city Ჹṛh, the ornament of Magadha, the sole abode of Śrī, like a full brother of 屹ī. Its king was named Vijaya, victorious, belonging to the Ikṣvāku family, prominent on the path of law. His queen was named ղ, endowed with good conduct, with a wealth of beauty and grace like a goddess come to earth.
