Part 4.5 - Description of Tang Guti Khel
[Full title: Recreation and games (5) Tang Guti Khel]
The “Tang guti khel game is played with a wooden ball and a stick. The length of the stick is about 2ft and the ball about 3 inches. A hole is dug in the ground and that serve as the centre or the ghai of the game. The ball is placed in the hole and the player hits the ball with the stick. The player has to drive the ball to the utmost length and the players of the opposite team try to catch the ball in the air. If they can catch it then the distance is measured from the ‘ghai i.e. centre to the place where the ball was caught it. Both the parties play the game in this way.
The team who scores the highest number is declared to be the winner.[1]
