VI.7. Environmental Philosophy behind the Aesthetics in Laying out of Gardens: The author has attempted with enormous effort in respect of philosophically representing the aesthetics in lying out of gardens. It requires the house to be surrounded by trees of dense leaves and covered with creepers of atimuktaka (v.293). In the garden it advices for the planning of water reservoirs; a puskarini (v.294), a dirghika (v.295), a vapi (v.296). In the middle of the garden an abode (vesma) and at places pavilions are to be planned (v.297). A kupa is also to be dug (v.298). For making its water clean, tasteful and fragrant, the author advices administrating the compound of musta, usira, the powder of naga, kosataka & amalaka and the fruit of kataka (v.299 - 300).
