Texts on vrksayurveda: An Introduction:�Vrikshayurveda or the study of Ayurveda based on plants or science on plants life literally signifies the epithetical values which are to be understood and analyzed spectacularly through different spectrums. This chapter analyses and interprets the representation of various aspects of the plant science accorded in different puranic & Vedic texts, Sanskrit literatures, epics, etc. However, references to the subject of Vrikshayurveda are to be found throughout the above mentioned texts. Therefore, in this chapter a few texts either dealing exclusively on the topic or exhaustively describing the aspects are enumerated.
