his foot. Again the demons speedily bound him with ropes and threw
him into water. Prahlāda triembeled the mighty deep; and
agigated throughout, it rose in mighty waves. Prahlāda praises Lord
Hari, the great Hari in yellow robes, suddenly appeared before
him. Again Prahlāda went to his father and bowed down before him.
The Hiranyakasipu treated him with kindness and repented for his
past actions. Prahlāda conversant with pity and attended diligently
upon his father and preceptor. After his father has been by Lord
Viṣṇu in the form of man lion, he became the sovereign of the
demons. Obtaining the splendours of royalty on account of piety, he
came by immense wealth and was blessed with numerous progeny.
