raging in the fire of anger with fierceful red eyes, came to the battle-field.
Lord K峁涐梗峁嘺 without a second thought, cut off all thousand arms of
B膩峁嚹乻ura by His Sudarsana disc.54
Proclaiming the words of victory, all gods in great joy, approached
艢iva and K峁涐梗峁嘺, then worshipped them in due manner. As a token of
great honour, flowers were showered from heaven on Lord K峁涐梗峁嘺.
And, witnessing Lord K峁涐梗峁嘺's victorious sports like cutting off thousand
arms of B膩峁嘺, winning over 艢iva etc. all divine beings-gods, Gandharvas,
Yak峁s sang the glory of Lord K峁涐梗峁嘺.
Canto IX : Aniruddha's Return to Dw膩rak膩
As the arms of B膩峁嘺 were being lopped off, 艢iva taking compassion
on his devotee, approached Lord K峁涐梗峁嘺, the Wielder of the Sudar艣ana,
and submitted to Him as below:
55 "O Victorious Lord, indeed You are the Supreme Effulgence which is
now witnessed by all. For the ignorant persons, it is a matter of great
surprise. Your supreme power is beyond the limitation of space and time.
And even the men of purified intellect are greatly delighted to realize
your endless power, which is sung in the Vedas. O the Destroyer of
demons, You are verily the Supreme God. Your ever consort goddess
Lak峁i has given birth to Brahm膩; and we all - 艢e峁, Garu岣峚 myself etc.
are Brahm膩's sons. Therefore, we adore You, Lak峁i and Brahm膩 as well.56
