Sun-worship Vratas (35) M膩rta峁囜笉a-saptam墨
M膩rta峁嘾asaptam墨vrata begins on the seventh day of the bright fortnight in the month of 笔补耻峁:
pau峁 m膩se site pak峁 saptamy膩峁� 蝉补尘耻辫辞峁迟补岣�//
蝉补尘测补办辫奴箩测补峁� 尘腻谤迟补峁囜笉补峁� 尘腻谤迟补峁囜笉补 iti vai japet/[1]
Fast is observed on the respective day and the Sun-god is worshipped with the muttering of the word 尘腻谤迟补峁囜笉补. The fee should be offered to the 叠谤腻丑尘补峁嘺蝉 according to his capability. Again, on the next day, the Sungod is worshipped under the name Ravi. Thus the vrata last for a year and as the reward of it, the worshipper attains desired objects.[2]
