Virarasa is developed where hero is extraordinary one. Its Sthayibhava is Utsaha; and the enemy to be win over, i.e. Alambanavibhava; and the movements of
231 hero for achieving his goal are the Uddipanavibhavas; and the support etc. for his activities are Anubhava's of Vira-rasa. 26 anidranaprajnasahajabaladhiradbhutagati- stitiksasamtosasthirataratanutranaghatitah | prayuktam kenapi pranavarathamasthaya purato vivekah pratyudyan vighatayati me vyuhaghatanam || S.S. IV - 58, p.444 "Viveka with unfailing good sense as his source of strength and with a courageous and wonderful movement is now wearing the thick armour of Patience and contentment, and seated in the chariot of Pranava driven by some one, (Pranava composed by Brahma), comes in front of us and breaks our battle-formation." As described the above example, Viveka is the irresistable extraordinary hero; his courageous wonderful movements are due to Utsaha, which is Sthayibhava; his chariot of Pranava possesses golden splendour, Mahamoha enemy king to be won over Viveka. By Viveka is its Alambanavibhava; and his efforts of breaking enemies Vyuha is Uddipana-vibhava; and the armour of patience and contentment to which Viveka is resorted is Anubhava; 27 Thus the above example is an illustration of Virarasa.
