Summary of the ¶Ù±¹Äå»å²¹Å›Äå³ó²¹ sacrifice

¶Ù±¹Äå»å²¹Å›Äå³ó²¹ is the model for both Ahina and Satra type of sacrifice. It is similar to Ahina type of sacrifice and also from the aspects of number of priests and details of ceremony it is also uniform to the Satra acrifice. Like Satra sacrifice, ¶Ù±¹Äå»å²¹Å›Äå³ó²¹ also begins and ends with an ²¹³Ù¾±°ùÄå³Ù°ù²¹ ritual. As ´¡²µ²Ô¾±á¹£á¹´Ç³¾²¹ is the model for all ·¡°ìÄå³ó²¹ sacrifices, likewise ¶Ù±¹Äå»å²¹Å›Äå³ó²¹ is the model for all Ahina and Satra sacrifices. For the performance of ¶Ù±¹Äå»å²¹Å›Äå³ó²¹ sacrifice thirty six days are required. The ¶Ù¾±°ìá¹£Ä� ceremony is performed on the first twelve days then on the following twelve days the performance of Upasad rites goes on. On the twenty fourth days after the completion of Upasad rites, a ±Ê²¹Å›³Ü ³ÛÄå²µ²¹ is performed in the name of Agni and Soma. The last twelve days cover the twelve ²õ³Ü³Ù²âÄå²õ. As mentioned earlier, the ¶Ù±¹Äå»å²¹Å›Äå³ó²¹ sacrifice also ends with ´¡±¹²¹²ú³óá¹›t³ó²¹ ¾±á¹£á¹¾±. Like ´¡²µ²Ô¾±á¹£á¹´Ç³¾²¹, the first day of the sacrifice is known as ±Ê°ùÄå²â²¹²Ô¾±²â²¹ and the last day goes by the name Udayaniya.
