Once lord Ś and goddess ī desired to enjoy the pleasure of sports. Keeping Bhairava as a door keeper, they went inside. Goddess ī assumed the form of a mad woman and came to the door where Bhairava was present as a door keeper. Attracted by her charming form, Bhairava glanced at her and stopped her from going out. At this, ī became angry and cursed him that he will be born as a human being on earth. On account of her curse, Bhairava went to earth, born as a human being. Urged by his friendship, Ś also incarnated on earth by the name Ѳś along with ī. ī was born by the name of Ś. This is the story of Ѳś.[1]
