3c. Rudra in the Indraturīya sacrifice
The Satyaṣāḍa Śܳٲūٰ states that Indraturīya sacrifice is performed in connection with battle. This sacrifice includes four oblations.[1] Among these four oblations one is offered to god Rudra. This Śܳٲūٰ mentions that 屹ܰ첹 caru is offered to Rudra in this sacrifice.[2] Indraturīya is a name of an ṣṭ. This sacrifice is performed at the beginning of the Ჹūⲹ sacrifice.[3]
