Works of ԲԲṃbṭṭ

Though ղ첹ṃg and its commentary ī辱 are the most popular works of ԲԲṃbṭṭ, there are some other works which are ascribed to his authorship. According Aufrecht, the following works are written by ԲԲṃbṭṭ - Ѿṣa, ղٳٱ-ǻ󾱲ī-ṭīk, ⲹ-貹śṣṭ and ܲǻ󾱲ī-ܻ. Ѿṣa is a commentary on Bādarāyana’s 󳾲-ūٰ. This is surely written by ԲԲṃbṭṭ because it has the same colophon which is found in the ī辱.[1]

Tattva-ǻ󾱲ī-ṭīk is inferably a commentary on ղٳٱ-ǻ󾱲ī. -貹śṣṭ ʰś may be stated as a commentary on ⲹ-貹śṣṭ of Udayana and ܲǻ󾱲ī-ܻ, the last one is mentioned to be a commentary on dzś’s ⲹ-ܻ.[2]

According to Aufrecht and Hall, there are two other works of ԲԲṃbṭṭ on grammar namely ٲⲹԲ-ʰپⲹ-ղԲ and Ѳṣy-վṇodzٲԲ.[3] 󲹲Իś󲹰 Śٰī has mentioned two other works of ԲԲṃbṭṭ, viz. ղٳٱ-Գ峾ṇyǰ첹-ñԲ and 󳾲ūٰ-ṛtپ.[4] Thus, he wrote at least three works on ⲹ, one on ūīṃs, one or two on ձԳٲ and two on grammar. Therefore, it may be stated that ԲԲṃbṭṭ was a versatile writer.[5]
