Significance of Asti Marma
17,18,24 Asti Marma Bone is an important anatomical structure from an orthopaedic point of view. Any injury to the bone, affects the architecture and balance of the human body. The injury to a bone is dependent upon the force of violence and the nature of violence. If asthi marma is injured, the blood will be seen mixed with marrow. Bleeding occurs intermittently. Pain will be felt more as these marmas are particularly the seat of vatha. Usually the asthi marmas are considered as Vaikalyakara marma.
